LEARN

A personal knowledge graph that builds itself as you learn

Bettership pulls the key ideas, frameworks, and people out of your courses, podcasts, videos, and articles and gives each one a page, linked to everywhere it comes up. Your part is adding what you learn. Bettership does the connecting.

Jordy opens a Wiki idea, sees its five resources, and follows a connection to Context Persistence.

You keep discovering the same ideas in different places

A framework from a course comes up again on a podcast, then in an article a few weeks later. Knowledge compounds when pieces like these connect, but each one stays where you found it, so they rarely do. A second brain or notes app can link them, but you have to do the linking. Keeping that up becomes a chore.

Each idea gets one page, linked to every source that mentions it

A page for each key idea

Bettership reads each thing you add, picks out the main frameworks, techniques, concepts, people, organizations, and products, and gives each one a page with a short description.

One idea, every source

When an idea comes up again in something new, it’s added to the same page, so one page shows everywhere it came up. Names in your summaries, transcripts, and chats link straight to their pages.

What your sources say

For the main ideas you’re working on, Bettership writes up what your sources say about them, with numbered links back to each one, and rewrites it as more sources come in. It can also show where two sources disagree.

How ideas connect

Each page lists the connections your sources draw, such as an idea that builds on, challenges, or uses another, plus a few similar ideas worth a look.

Ideas you can ask about, practice, and apply to real work

Ask about it

Open a page and ask your Bettership agents about the idea. They read the page you’re on and look up related ideas in your library, so answers start from your own sources.

Background on people and frameworks

Pages for people and frameworks can include background Bettership looks up for you: a person’s role and what they’re known for, or what a framework is for and where it came from.

Practice it

Ask to practice an idea, and your practice agent builds the questions and exercises from what your sources say about it.

Apply it at work

Turn an idea into a prompt or skill for the AI tools you use. On Plus and Max, Connected AI also lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and others look up the idea and read where your sources mention it.

Common questions

A set of things, like ideas, people, and companies, and the connections between them. In Bettership it’s your Wiki: a page for each key framework, idea, person, and company in what you’ve added, linked to the others and to every source that mentions it.

Not a map of nodes and edges. Each page lists its connections instead: everywhere the idea came up, the ideas it builds on or challenges, and similar ideas. To look across everything, browse the Wiki by type, topic, collection, or resource, and sort by what comes up most.

No. Bettership makes the pages and links as each thing you add finishes processing. When the same idea turns up under a slightly different name, Bettership matches it to the page you already have, checking twice before it merges anything.

You can rename any page, and if the new name matches another page, Bettership offers to merge the two. The pages are written from your sources, so to add to an idea, add something that covers it, or write a note of your own about it.

It works with anything you add that has words in it: YouTube videos and podcast episodes through their transcripts, courses and workshops you capture live, articles, newsletters, PDFs, and your own notes. See YouTube and podcast transcripts

Obsidian, Notion, and other second brain apps are great for writing and organizing your own notes, and you make the links. Bettership is built around what you’re learning from others. It reads your courses, podcasts, videos, and articles, makes the pages and links for you, and your Bettership agents use them to answer your questions and build your practice.

Not on its own. Pages, links, and write-ups come with adding a resource, which uses credits based on its length. Browsing the Wiki and asking about it never use credits, and the Wiki is on every plan. See pricing

On Plus and Max, yes. Connected AI lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools look up any idea in your library and read the passages where your sources mention it, and use your prompts and skills too. They can read, but never change anything. See Connected AI
